A most welcomed sleep.
Emmah slept pretty much all night straight through... well as best as she could with being checked (blood pressure, temperature) every few hours or so. Not exactly sure if that's due to the pain meds, exhaustion or both. She's not hitting the button on her PCA as often, but then again, she is asleep. She did (barely) wake enough this morning to talk to the pain team and she said to them that her pain level is 5-6 laying there and 7-8 when she moves.
Her creatinine is .8, so that's fantastic... essentially normal. There had been talk of taking her catheter out, but they wanted to make sure that there wouldn't be a need for it since it was a bit of an ordeal to get it in. With the drop in creatinine, it's going to come out. Also with the drop in the creatinine, they're talking of doing the CT... potentially today.
I know that the CT is needed, but it leaves me nervous and anxious to really see the extent of the disease... pray that with what we (they) see, they will be able to do something like a de-bulking resection. At this stage of the game, we don't have a laundry list of options to choose from to stave off the disease.
