A small request... please

I have a small request and it won't take up much of your time.

Now that Emmah's spirit has left her physical body behind and has completed it's journey "home" I would very much like if you could all take a moment and reflect on Emmah... whether you knew her personally or not. Let us know how she touched/affected or made a difference in your life.

I especially would like to hear from those of you who know/knew her, what your fondest memory or memories of her are. Funny stories and what you remember her likes and dislikes to be (no matter what they are) and what word/words you would use to describe her.

In order to keep all of those thoughts in one place, please, please use this link only for this purpose only.

Thank-you

It's Day +4

That's right sports fans... it's Day +4

The Super Bowl will be on Day +9 and Emmah has already been told that I will be in control of the television that day. Enough about me...

There's been no significant changes since Day +1... well nothing to tell anyway. Her counts have continued to drop as expected. She got a tranfusion of platelets yesterday and a blood transfusion today. She's spiked a couple of fevers along the way, but they haven't hung around. She's at 102.9 as I write this, and has an ice pack on her head. Her mouth and throat are still sore, as in very. She's using a suction tube to get all the mucus out of her mouth... it's so thick and there's a lot of it.

So that's it from here... for now.
