A small request... please

I have a small request and it won't take up much of your time.

Now that Emmah's spirit has left her physical body behind and has completed it's journey "home" I would very much like if you could all take a moment and reflect on Emmah... whether you knew her personally or not. Let us know how she touched/affected or made a difference in your life.

I especially would like to hear from those of you who know/knew her, what your fondest memory or memories of her are. Funny stories and what you remember her likes and dislikes to be (no matter what they are) and what word/words you would use to describe her.

In order to keep all of those thoughts in one place, please, please use this link only for this purpose only.

Thank-you

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells...

Only 49 more days until Christmas... that means you have 48 days to shop for me... 'er I mean the kids.

Update on Emmah's slow to rise WBC... we got her counts from yesterday and her WBC is 2.0. A WBC of 2 is good... still a little away from the low normal range of 4... but at least now she has an up and (semi) running immune system and a semi running immune system is better than being neutropenic.

Her hemoglobin and platelets are holding too... but the true measure of how her immune system is doing is her ANC. In her case they (the doctors) like to see it get to 1500... that's kind of the low end bench mark. As of yesterday's draw, she was sitting at 1380... that's up from the 580 on Tuesday.
