A small request... please

I have a small request and it won't take up much of your time.

Now that Emmah's spirit has left her physical body behind and has completed it's journey "home" I would very much like if you could all take a moment and reflect on Emmah... whether you knew her personally or not. Let us know how she touched/affected or made a difference in your life.

I especially would like to hear from those of you who know/knew her, what your fondest memory or memories of her are. Funny stories and what you remember her likes and dislikes to be (no matter what they are) and what word/words you would use to describe her.

Making The Call You Don't Want To Make...

I didn't mean to leave anyone in limbo regarding Emmah's CT results, but as you might imagine it's not a call that you eagerly want to make... as much as you want to/need to know is how much you don't. Obviously delaying making the call doesn't alter the results any as they are what they are.

We go by the notion that no news is good news. Our line of thinking is that if there was something to tell, if something did show up, they would call us. Of course then it sits in the back of your mind then unanswered and semi mocking you. All the while you're left thinking... well what if they didn't get to looking at it yet?

So Julie called yesterday...

Had to leave a message...

They called back this morning...

Aaaaaaannnnd...

The scan is all good!

WHEW! One more down... and Lord only knows how many more to go.
