Last night, the 7th, we were all guests of Joliet West High School. Why? Well because of some extraordinary students who have the vision that enables them to see how they can make a difference in the lives of others. Wonderful young thespians crafting a production of the play Noises Off. They wanted to make a donation to Make-A-Wish and decided that all proceeds from their production would go to Make-A-Wish. They also wanted to sponsor someone... locally if they could. That someone is Emmah. We met with the producer a wonderful young man named Mark Kijek. Opening night was last night and they are running shows through the weekend.
Though I only saw the first act (it is a school night after all) it left me wanting to see the rest. Julie, Emmah and perhaps Nick will attempt to go and see the rest of it sometime this weekend. I can't say enough about these young adults but only to reiterate what the title sez... that all is not lost on ALL of our youth. There should be some pretty proud parents out there.

Pray for unremarkable CT scan results for Emmah.
